Last updated:

This privacy policy explains what personal data N7 Labs collects, the purposes it is processed for, and what rights you have in relation to it.

1. Data controller

The controller of your personal data is N7 Labs, Nova Gorica / Murska Sobota, Slovenia.

2. What data is collected

This website is static and has no sign-up or checkout forms. We process personal data in the following cases:

  • When you contact us (by email or phone): your name, email address, phone number and the content of your message.
  • Technical server logs: our hosting provider automatically records the IP address, browser type and time of access for the security and operation of the website.

3. Purposes and legal basis

  • Answering enquiries and preparing quotes — the legal basis is steps taken prior to entering into a contract, or your consent (Article 6(1)(b) and (a) GDPR).
  • Ensuring the security and operation of the website — the legal basis is legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).

4. Processors and data transfers

Your data may be processed on our behalf by the following providers:

  • Cloudflare, Inc. — hosting and delivery of the website (CDN, security).
  • Zoho Corporation — the email provider we communicate with you through.

Some providers may process data outside the EU; in those cases the transfer is carried out on the basis of appropriate safeguards (e.g. standard contractual clauses).

5. Data retention

We keep personal data only for as long as is necessary for the purpose it was collected for, or for as long as the law requires. Correspondence relating to enquiries is normally kept for up to 24 months, unless a contract is concluded.

6. Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to:

  • access your personal data,
  • rectification of inaccurate data,
  • erasure (the “right to be forgotten”),
  • restriction of processing,
  • data portability,
  • object to processing, and
  • withdraw consent where processing is based on it.

You can submit a request to janez@n7-labs.com. If you believe the processing infringes the regulations, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the Information Commissioner of the Republic of Slovenia (ip-rs.si).

7. Cookies

Our use of cookies is described in more detail in the cookie policy.

8. Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. The date of the last update is shown at the top of the page.
